The Red Diamond SLAPP Suit

I am being sued by Red Diamond, Inc. for trade libel and defamation in an attempt to intimidate me into taking down this website. Red Diamond, Inc. doesn't want any other consumers finding out about the hazardous substances we found in a jug of their tea.

This is what is called a SLAPP suit. These are bogus lawsuits that are filed to bully someone into shutting up.

SLAPP suits are filed by corporations who don't like what a person or group is saying about them, especially since what is being said is something truthfully negative about the company. It's not that corporations usually win them, but they cost people so much money it silences them, along with everyone else who thinks about criticizing a corporate product or practice.

Ordinary people have been SLAPP sued for complaining to government agencies or writing a critical Letter to the Editor. In addition, Red Diamond, Inc. is asking the court to permanently gag me, my family and even my "servants" from ever speaking about Red Diamond Tea.

I'm not sure why any of this would involve the butler, chef, the chauffeur, the gardners, the pool boy and the maids. I guess that's the price they pay for being a part of my household staff, they get dragged into my lawsuits.*

I hope the staff are not too upset over this. Good help is so hard to find these days.
